Wilder: The Guardian Series

I first encountered G.K. DeRosa through an Indie Support group on Goodreads, and I am so glad I did. Since then, we have connected on other social media sites, and I find that Ms. DeRosa is a great resource for inspiration and information on the indie author experience.
I am excited to see where her writing journey takes her. She is currently hard at work on wrapping up the second book in The Guardian Series which she hopes to release this Fall.

Continue on for G.K. DeRosa's Interview &
a peak at her book,
Wilder!

I met Wendi Wilson through the wonderful world of Twitter as we both worked on promoting our novels. She's turned out to be one of my biggest supporters, and we've never even met! So, I had this brilliant idea the other day, and thought
I would propose it to her through this video.

Hope she likes it :)

-Don't worry Wendi, I am a pro at editing outtakes and such. :) We can work out the details to make this great!

Hello again!

If this is your first time to my site, welcome! Thanks for dropping by.
If this is not your first time here, I'm glad you decided to come back and check out my latest author interview! This one is focused on the lovely Amanda Siegrist, author of multiple adult romance novels.
When I first approached Amanda for an interview, I had no idea she had so many projects completed and, also, in the works! She's quite a busy-bee. Which, as a reader, is AWESOME! I can't wait to pick up more of her work.

The novel Amanda decided to discuss today is Protecting You.
Picture
Protecting You ~ A McCord Family Novel

Ava Rainer is on the top of her game. Good life, good job, great friends-especially Detective Jimmy McCord. Not everyone appreciates their friendship, particularly Jimmy's brother Zane. He thinks she's there to tear his family apart. She met him once with no desire to meet again. She would do anything for Jimmy, though. She sadly found out he would do anything for her.

Tragedy strikes, leaving Ava under the depths of despair, struggling to climb her way out. Wishing that Jimmy were there to help pull her out of her turmoil, she finds herself face-to-face again with Zane. Can he ever forgive her for breaking his family apart? Can he help her move on with life and find the peace she desperately needs? Or will the pain and heartache tear them apart even more?

*This is a contemporary romance.

My review of Protecting You can be found on the Indie Reads & Reviews Page!

***Stay tuned at the end of the interview to read an except from Protecting You!

I first encountered Kat Stiles on Twitter, and decided to take a look
at her work and what other readers/authors were saying.

I'm happy to say that I've seen good things!

When I first thought of having author interviews, I knew I wanted to interview at least one author before I read their work. The goal would be to give myself a different perspective when I finally read their work. Let me say, I'm so glad I chose Kat for this!

I LOVE Kat's interview, and have a feeling you all will too. :)

Continue reading below for the interview!

For more information on Kat's book, Connected, see the end of the interview.

Happy Reading!

First Author Interview is...

Kellie McAllen

Author of Soulmate, a YA paranormal romance. It is Book 1 in The Soulmate Series.

I decided to ask Kellie for an interview because Soulmate was a book which really took me by surprise. The plot was completely unique, and the writing was impeccable. Kellie took a very difficult concept to write (to me at least), and effortlessly presented it in an enjoyable read. See my review of Soulmate on Goodreads.

Interview:

Please Introduce Yourself.
  • Hi, I’m Kellie and I write YA paranormal romance novels.  I’m also a wife, a mother, and I work full-time as an optician.  I love reading, watching dancing shows, baking cupcakes, and obsessively decorating and redecorating my home in North Carolina.

When did you decide to become a writer?
  • I have always enjoyed writing.  Back in school I had several teachers encourage me and I wrote my first novel at age 17.  I got busy with life after that and didn’t write much until I started a food blog a few years ago.  In 2014 I got an idea for a book that I just couldn’t stop thinking about, so I decided I had to write it.  That book was SOULMATE, the first novel I released to the big wide world.
